On December 23, in a whimsical celebration of creativity and holiday cheer, the traditional “Through History. Museum of Architecture and History” exhibition took place, enchanting visitors with its delightful and edible masterpiece.
The event transported attendees into a world where sweet treats and artistic talent collided in a sugary spectacle. The creators poured their hearts and souls into their creations, using a variety of candy, icing, and other edible decorations to bring their visions to life. The creation of the installation took 40 kg of marzipan, 20 kg of cream, 5 kg of white chocolate, 70 pieces of icing spray, 250 kg of biscuits, and 40 kg of icing.
Every year, NARGIS Publishing House hosts significant events spanning various aspects of public life. This year's gingerbread installation commemorates the Republic of Azerbaijan's successful efforts in restoring its territorial integrity and sovereignty – a triumph of justice paving the way for lasting peace in the region.
The gingerbread installation takes the form of a map of Azerbaijan, showcasing the most memorable recent cultural, social, and sporting events in the country. Notable occasions like diverse regional festivals, the Fuzuli International Airport inauguration, the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the 2015 European Games, and other culturally significant landmarks are featured. The exhibit allows visitors to immerse themselves in a festive ambiance and get a charge of good mood. A large number of children attended the event and received cards and gingerbread biscuits as gifts. Additionally, everyone enjoyed the presence of special guests like the Grinch and Olaf, accompanied by musicians playing vibrant New Year's melodies.
